First of all, I’m sorry for not posting anything on this special day. I really hadn’t much time today and probably I will write the other aricles tomorrow.
From the screenshot galleries you saw in my previous post, you could conclude that it was quite a big event. There was a room for the playable demo version, a bar/restaurant and press conference lounge with in the middle a big display of Pulse and Cocoon.
When the event began a lot of big people within Square Enix spoke about Final Fantasy XIII. Even Kaz Hirai from Sony was present!
The person that we’ll discuss in this post is Sayuri Sugawara, a Japanese singer who is fairly unknown for me and Wikipedia. She will be performing the theme song for Final Fantasy XIII! It’s entitled “Kimi Ga Iru Kara” which I am able to translate with my knowledge of Japanese as “Because you are here”
She performed this song at the event accompanied by a live orchestra and IGN has already uploaded this:
The event ended with some other announcements and a trailer that, according to some game websites, was the most beatifull trailer they had ever seen.
The trailer will be shown to the public at Tokio Game Show later this month.
Of course, I will post more news tomorrow.
